Jim was one of my first friends in junior high.

I remember that he made the most creative science projects in high school

My sympathies to his family.

I never knew James, but he sounds like a great guy and an accomplished individual.  My sincere condolences to his family on their far too early loss.

Jim and I were friends ever since second grade.  He and I ran for student president of Sussex School when we were in the sixth grade.  Jim won with a great campaign slogan -- "Be a Hacker Backer!"  A good guy!  Prayers go out to his family.

Very sorry to learn of the passing of Jim Hacker.  I remember talking politics and kidding around while we ate lunch together in the gallery at the top of the stadium.  Too bad we never crossed paths at Boeing.  My time there was in "the other Washington."  Sincere condolences to his daughters and family.
