WOTRING JANE JESSOP WOTRING, daughter of Leah Rivitz and Morris Jessop, passed away on July 13, 2012. Jane was born in 1944 in Akron, OH., and studied art before moving to New York in 1963. She was Madame Helena Rubinstein's personal secretary and later the crafts designer at Good Housekeeping Magazine, until moving to Connecticut, where she had a successful career in real estate. Jane was married to Richard P. Wotring (deceased 2009) for 41 years. She is survived by her sister, Honey Lazar (David Lazar); nephews Matthew and Zachary Lazar (Ayirini Fonseca-Sabune); brother Henry Goodman (Lois Goodman); her beloved Aunt Ruth Moss; nieces Mara and Dana Sidney (Raoul Bain); great-nieces Livia and Phoebe; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, a legion of devoted friends and her constant companion, Lulu. Jane was predeceased by her older sister, Phyllis Sidney (Oct. 30, 2011), whom she adored and with whom she shared a life-long love of fashion, art, craft and nature.
