Very sad news.  Pitter was such a smart, talented, and very kind person. The classes I shared with her were always the best, due to her vivacious and astute personality.  She was a good friend and will be missed.

How sad that Pitter who was such a vibrant personality has passed away much too early!  I was not

surprised to read that she had attended Interlochen International Arts Camp where one of my daughter also received excellent training as a dancer and singer. As requested, I am happy to donate a tribute to Pitter to that renown arts center.

Sending her family my greatest sympathy and wishes for healing and wonderful memories!!

Pitter was a childhood friend since we lived down the street from each other.  We had rollerskating shows togetheer, made gimp potholders together and played kick the can until our parents made us go home at 5 pm or "when the street lights came on."  Even at Boulevard Elementary school she talked about becoming a dancer.  She was as dedicated to her friends as she was to her dancing.  The world has lost a brilliant, caring soul. It is indeed sad to lose a part of my childhood.

Pitter brought grace and life to our high school group.  This is a birthday party for her at Susan Hardesty Christy's farm in our senior year. Others sharing the birthday from  to her left are Elizabeth Kinney, Judy Lowry and Meredith Spenser. I remember Pitter mostly for her dancing, which elevated my spirit. She was also so bright, curious and kind, leading to a interesting careers of outreach in our Cleveland community. I treasure these memories.
