In the summer after 7th grade, I think it was, I used to walk over to Judy's. Then we would either walk to get a lemon ice at a little place near St. Cecelia's or stroll over to the junior high. I was always struck by the care Judy took getting dressed - she always ironed everything, even her hair ribbons.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Judy Heller McCandlish.
I fondly remember the Plymouth Church canteen, where I was the student disc jockey, and our teacher sponsor was Dick Tappenden, who also ran Camp Adanac in Canada.
I am so sad. I knew Judy from Sutton Road and Moreland School. My sister Susi played with her sister Laurel. We went trick or treating with them in the snow!! That was a long time ago but a great memory. She will be missed.

I saw Judy at the nail salon every other week or so. Was fun catching up with her all the time. Will miss her.
