Paula died of ovarian cancer in 1994. She was a life-long resident of Cleveland and was employed by British Petroleum Company at the time of her death.
What a delightful friend! I will long remember the summer days spent as her guest at Mentor Harbor Yacht Club on the beach with friends. (Mentor seemed almost a day trip away!) I race there several times each year and have faithfully hoisted a beer or two in her memory.
I remember Paula as a great fun person with an indomitable spirit. Always in charge; always into the new, challenging and slightly risky. She was an adventurer for sure! I smile when I think of her "hypnotizing" everyone at a big bash she and her brother had while their parents were away. It was a fast start and I would love to know the rest of the story.....RIP, Paula.
Paula was part of our girl gang.Had some pretty wild Times. We were supposed to go to U.of South Carolina together but My plans changed, She lasted a year and was not fond of Southern schools and left. Sorry she left us so early.
