Joel was a close friend for many years. He had a very distinguished career in the U. S. Air Force. I visited him in Nebraska many times. Rest In Peace, old friend. You and I made a lot of mischief in Sunday school. But I ended up a rabbi and you became a damn good Presbyterian.
