Jim was in my kindergarten class at Fernway School and we remained classmates until graduation in 1961. I remember his mom picking me up for school events when we were youngsters. Jim was kind, thoughtful, witty,
and bright. I bumped into him right after he graduated from Ohio Wesleyan. We were in the parking lot of the main library on Lee Road. All of Jim's qualities as a child were now even more evident and refined. I wanted to keep up with him in the future but, alas, "the best laid plans...". I have thought of him many times in the intervening years and I now pay tribute to his memory. He made an indelible impression on me because of his humanity and decency. Rest In Peace.
