Carl ("Bud") stayed the course throughout his life. He married Sherry Needham, the girl of his dreams through high school, and they had two daughters and a son. Bud worked for Picker in early ultrasound sales, then for his father's Columbia Match Company in Mentor. (Tom Quick is opening a new restaurant at the former Columbia Match Building February 4th, 2011.) Carl took over Aeroll Roll Thread Die Company from Sherry's father and ran that successfully until he contracted Parkinson's Disease and, after a long battle succumbed.
Sherry and the chidren still all live near one another on a quiet street just outside Chagrin Falls.
