Married in 1964. Graduated from Albion College 1965 with degrees in Art and Education. Taught Head Start. Was given forced retirement when I became pregnant with my first child. Pregnant women were not allowed to teach in those days,too upsetting for the children. Can you imagine! Became a stay at home Mom,busy with community work. Served on many boards,most importantly worked with The American Red Cross for several years. Moved 17 times with my husband's career,have now settled in Colorado and love the wonderful climate and outdoor adventures. Became a certified trainer for senior citizens and an aqua fitness trainer. School Story:

Wonderful Mr. Swiaja(sp?)in AP History fighting the Civil War with great energy. Mr.Mendelson's European History,the paper I wrote for him was granted college credit. Both history teachers inspired me and taught me the value of research.

Happy Birthday, I saw you recently had a knee replacement...me too, but mine was a result of an accident. Not fun is it? Hope you are haling well and back to your regular routine. I now live in Pinehurst, N.C. Dick died five years ago after years of struggling with all of his many medical issues. I am remarried and it has been an adjustment after 53 years with Dick. Things are working out well in spite of COVID and my 8 months of recovery form the accident. If you ever are in the area let us know, you would like Pinehurst. Say hello to Don. Best Wishes. Jean
